 It has been reported and confirmed by CNBC that Steve Jobs has returned as CEO at Apple. He took a medical leave in the winter for an undisclosed reason. The CNBC report comes a few days after the Wall Street Journal reported he had a liver transplant in Tennessee two months ago.

The iPhone 3GS came out last week, and Apple reports that they have sold 1 million of the handsets on the launch weekend. They also report that six million iPhone and iPod touch owners have downloaded the 3.0 software.

Apple released a new Apple TV software update. Software version 2.4 allows for multi-touch gestures in the Remote app for the iPhone and iPod touch. These gesutres mimic actually using the remote.

The app store has released its first turn-by-turn GPS application. AT&T Navigator is available now in the app store for free, but using it cost $10 a month. It includes extra goodies like nearby gas stations, coffee shops, and WiFi hotspots.

WildCharge, a company that makes a mat so you can charge your gadget without wires, has unveiled their new products so you can charge your iPhone or iPod touch wirelessly. The iPod touch case is available now, and the iPhone case is coming out in July, and will be compatible with all iPhone models.

Everyone knows that the Wall Street Journal’s tech journalist, Walt Mossberg, is a huge fan of Apple products. He reports that the new MacBook Pro’s have the best battery life ever tested.

You all remember the guy from the original iPhone guided tour, right? Well, Bob, is leaving Apple and going to a venture capatalist firm.
